John Cena’s WWE return started a few stories in the rumor mill. Although Cena will mix it up with a few people during this comeback, the truth is that he can’t have big matches with everyone.
Ringside News exclusively reported that John Cena and WWE were talking about his return to the company since the SAG-AFTRA Strike started. WWE does not have a union, so Cena can work for them. It also gave his WWE fans a very exciting couple of months.
A rumor is going around that John Cena is slated to wrestle Austin Theory at the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. Ringside News reached out to confirm this story making the rounds, and we were told by a tenured member of the creative team that this is not the plan.
It was previously reported that John Cena’s current WWE run could end early if the SAG-AFTRA Strike comes to a resolution. It is not expected that Cena will have to cancel any of his scheduled SmackDown appearances.
John Cena will also go to Saudi Arabia on November 4th for the WWE Crown Jewel event. Ringside News was able to confirm that Cena will be at Crown Jewel. His opponent for the show has not been confirmed at this time.
WWE does big business with every John Cena return, but he returned to the company during a boom period anyway. We will have to see which matches John Cena wrestles this time around, because there are a lot of possibilities.
