Gunther Says He Was Happy To See Chad Gable’s Daughter Cry

Gunther has established himself as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time ever since he debuted in the company back in January 2019. His most recent title match that fans remember was against Chad Gable on RAW, where he beat Gable and made the latter’s daughter cry. Now it appears Gunther stated that he was happy to see Gable’s daughter cry.

Chad Gable and Gunther have squared off against each other three times so far, with Gable even handing Gunther his first loss on the main roster via count-out last month. Gunther put his title on the line again on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

The match turned out to be an instant classic for many. Chad Gable almost had it in the bag, but GUNTHER caught a second win and used a deadly combination of moves to put away Gable and crush his dreams and even made Gable’s daughter cry.

While speaking to Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Gunther asked about Chad Gable’s daughter crying. Gunther made it clear that he was happy to see that.

I feel great (after defeating Chad Gable on Raw). I won, right? So, I’m good. I enjoy a little bit of a heartbreak at the end. I was happy to see that (Gable’s daughter crying after he lost).

Gunther and Chad Gable’s story in WWE is also not over yet. It remains to be seen whether Chad Gable will be eventually able to defeat Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, as he is determined to dethrone Gunther now that the latter has made history.
