WWE is making big plans for the future, and their TKO Holdings Group deal is bringing some big business for the company. That will include even more massive global events, and they are gearing up to take a trip back to Australia.

WWE has brought tons of fans out to events all around the world, and they are also growing accustomed to the idea of getting paid for those events. That being said, 2024 could see them take a big trip Down Under.

Perth, Australia is set to host a WWE stadium event in 2024, as reported by The West. According to The Sunday Times, the Cook Government and the wrestling promotion company are close to announcing a WWE show at Optus Stadium in early 2024, ahead of the AFL season starting in late March. The stadium can accommodate 60,000 people.

The 2018 Super Show-Down was the first Super Show-Down professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming event by WWE. It featured wrestlers from WWE’s Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live brand divisions and occurred on October 6th, 2018, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This event marked WWE’s sole pay-per-view event held in Australia to date. They held another Super ShowDown event in 2020, but it was in Saudi Arabia.

Australian fans haven’t seen a WWE show in far too long, and it appears that hiatus is about to end. Only time will tell how long it takes for WWE to confirm this show. Odds are, they will wait for the perfect time to maximize all the benefits they can out of the hype.
