WWE’s YouTube channel got a lot of action last night after The Rock appeared on SmackDown. The company’s social media team put the entire segment on YouTube, and fans clicked in a big way.

That video generated 1 million views in around six hours. As of this writing, the full video of The Rock’s return segment on SmackDown has generated 1.2 million views.

While The Rock was around SmackDown this week, he also had a chance to have special moment with John Cena. The two Hollywood heavyweights had a little face-to-face before hugging it out.

The Rock looked ready backstage before SmackDown this week, and he put on quite a show. Fans in Denver chanted “you are an asshole” at Austin Theory, but FOX censored it. On that note, the uncensored video from The Rock’s promo on Austin Theory was aired in some places.

We will have to see when The Rock comes back to WWE for another visit. This was certainly an exciting way to start SmackDown this week, even if several segments needed to be trimmed a bit because of the long opening segment.
