MJF has established himself as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of this generation as he has accomplished a lot at such a young age. MJF a master at crafting promos and this week’s Dynamite was no different as he dropped his own version of Scott Steiner’s infamous Steiner maths promo. Now it appears the mastermind behind the promo has been revealed.
As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF dropped a promo, addressing his upcoming match against Samoa Joe. He would then use his own version of Scott Steiner’s infamous promo, which fans certainly loved.
While speaking to Insider, AEW President Tony Khan talked about MJF’s ‘MJF Math’ promo and was asked who came up with the idea. Khan revealed that it was none other than MJF himself.
“That particular one was him. Wrestling is all about collaborations and I really enjoy having that connection and the ability to create stories.”
We were putting down ideas for the week’s shows, and he did say that and it was a great idea. That’s how I like to put stories together. Sit down with MJF and Adam Cole, the three of us, and talk. I’ve shot videos with the two of them and they have this great partnership.”
MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Grand Slam next week. We will have to wait and see whether The Salt of The Earth will be able to retain his title against The Samoan Submission Machine.
