WWE and UFC’s merger is complete, and that is changing a lot of things for Vince McMahon’s company. The company is seeing some releases today, and so far we’ve only heard about internal office layoffs. The big question remains about the status of Superstars on the company’s talent roster

Ringside News previously reported that Jamie Horowitz has been released from WWE. He previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Development and Digital. WWE also fired Head of Marketing, Catherine Newman, from her position today. Amanda Bloom also joined that list of firings later on.

PW Insider reports that they have not heard about any talent being released today. It appears that the layoffs today are only on a corporate level.

“For those who have asked, we have been told there are no plans for talent cuts today.”

It was previously reported, that WWE’s main roster and NXT were expected to see cuts. We’ve already seen a few, and we will be here for you at Ringside News if they do end up releasing some talent from the roster today.

WWE and UFC’s new company, TKO Holdings Group, may already have a massive impact on the company’s operations. It’s important to note that UFC and WWE are expected to keep their media rights deals separate.

What’s your take on WWE firing so many people after the TKO merger? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
