WWE has fired a lot of people over the past few hours. It seems that many departments were gutted. Now, we have another firing to report.

Ringside News exclusively reported that the WWE Creative Team is not expected to see any cuts. That is not to say others didn’t receive terrible news today.

Alexa Gotthardt worked as a manager for digital campaigns, and she revealed that she was also fired today. Alexa had been with the company since early 2022. She made this announcement with a post on her LinkedIn account, where she announced her departure.

I was on the #WWE / #TKO list nobody wanted to be on today.

Even though I can’t stay, I’ve got some epic memories to carry me through. It wasn’t just rolling out and optimizing partners’ digital campaigns- I got to enjoy so many more laughs and learnings with the team. From working with some of the best talent around, to writing some of the funniest social media copy we’ll ever think of, being able to help at productions, appearances or even to wrangling a French Bulldog- it’s been a very memorable time!

Please let me know if you happen to hear of an opening anywhere; I pride myself on being creative yet organized and am looking forward to continuing my career in a similar role.

Thank you for your support.

In the end, over 40 employees, maybe more than 50, lost their job with WWE today. This is a sad day with the company, as many are still nervous that a call will come that they are no longer employed.

Ringside News previously reported that Jamie Horowitz has been released from WWE. He previously held the role of Executive Vice President of Development and Digital. WWE also fired Head of Marketing, Catherine Newman, from her position today. Amanda Bloom also joined that list of firings later on.

Hopefully, everyone who lost their job today will land on their feet, and it won’t take long for them to find another place to work. WWE is going through a tremendous change right now, and we will be here for you to cover every step of the way here at Ringside News.

As always, leave your comments in the space below to let us know what you’re thinking!
