WWE hasn’t seen The Rock show up on television for quite some time. That being said, you never know what can happen in WWE.

Click here for lot of spoilers on WWE SmackDown this week, including some fun twists that are expected.

We previously reported that The Rock showed up on the Pat McAfee Show, where he confirmed that his WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns was supposed to happen. He’s even down to make it take place at WrestleMania 40.

Ringside News reported very long time ago that The Rock was a “virtual lock” for a WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns. Things fell through, but that didn’t close the story on that idea at all.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that The Rock plans on being at SmackDown this week. Pat McAfee will be there as well, because SmackDown is taking place so close to where they are for College Football, and the Pat McAfee Show, this week.

“The Rock is nearby tonight’s WWE Smackdown in Denver, as he filmed McAfee’s show from today. A cast member from McAfee’s show outright claimed to Fightful sources that The Rock and Pat McAfee would at least be at tonight’s Smackdown. Fightful has yet to confirm this otherwise.”

It would be pretty epic to see The Rock on SmackDown this week. He will apparently be at the show, and he’s also in an excellent mood after that incredibly fun appearance on the Pat McAfee Show today.
