Sean Waltman is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, even if his days of competing inside the squared circle are far behind him. He has been part of two of the most iconic groups in pro wrestling, namely DX and the nWo. Now it appears Waltman explained why he preferred being in DX over the nWo.
The WWE Hall of Famer has accomplished a lot during his time in the world of professional wrestling, being part of numerous iconic moments, especially during the Monday Night Wars.
While speaking on Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube show, Sean Waltman talked about being part of both D-Generation X and the nWo. Waltman then explained why he preferred being in DX over the nWo.
“When somebody asks me what my favorite was, I say DX because I had the most fun there and made the most money,” Waltman responded. “We were crushing it, right? Everything was amazing. But longevity-wise, it’s tough, because nWo — you still see those shirts everywhere. But then you go and look at someone like Derrick Lewis, who does the [crotch chop DX pose] after he’s knocking somebody out. So, that’s a tough question, man.”
Sean Waltman is also suffering from a torn labrum injury. It remains to be seen whether Sean Waltman will eventually be able to make his return to the squared circle, as his in-ring career is still not over just yet.
