Will Ospreay is considered one of the best pro wrestlers of the last decade, as he had incredible matches in many companies all over the world. His mind-blowing performances during the past few years have propelled him to the top of the industry. It was revealed that AEW All In’s attendance was inflated and now it appears Ospreay reacted to the news in a deleted video after he got a commemorative tattoo.
At AEW All In, Will Ospreay squared off against Chris Jericho in a singles match. As expected, Ospreay fired on all cylinders and the two ended up having a very solid match which saw Ospreay beat Jericho.
Will Ospreay recently decided to get a tattoo to commemorate AEW All In breaking records with over 81,000 people in attendance at Wembley. However, it was revealed that AEW tacked on 10k fans in the attendance record, as it turned out the official numbers were inflated.
In a now-deleted video, Will Ospreay took to Twitter and reacted to getting a tattoo of AEW All In’s inflated number, making it evident that he was having major buyer’s remorse.
“Bruv you cannot make this f***ing s*** up. I am currently in Japan. I’ve had no f***ing sleep. I am tired <laughs> This is the worst f***ing day of my life. Do you know how hard it was for me to get a tattoo? My mum f***ing hates them bruv! They [AEW] announced it [the 81,035 number] to everyone! They announced it. They announced 81,000 people. I’ve got this f***ing thing on my arm! <laughs> “
Will Ospreay is also open to all options after his NJPW contract expires next year, but AEW’s decision to inflate All In’s numbers might be a major factor in him not signing with the company for the long run. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Ospreay.
