Jade Cargill is apparently wrapping up her time in AEW, and she is heading to WWE by the look of things. Now, we are getting even more information about her situation.
It was previously noted that there is a thought that Jade Cargill is on her way to WWE. It is assumed that she wrapped up with AEW at Rampage this week. It was later reported that Cargill’s AEW contract could be running up incredibly soon.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that, Jade Cargill had effectively finished up in All Elite Wrestling just hours before at the Rampage tapings in Cincinnati.
There had been discussion about the nature of Jade Cargill’s deal over the summer when she was taking planned time off from the company after AEW Double or Nothing. Those that we’ve spoken to within WWE are of the belief that her deal may be structured in a way that could see her sign imminently. There was discussion of Cargill holding option years in AEW, but we’ve not had that confirmed.
We haven’t heard why specifically that Jade Cargill is looking to make the move, but one source indicated that it isn’t financially motivated.
It was also reported that, “Jade Cargill does have a team of representatives for her deals.” We will have to see what kind of deal they are able to work out.
We will have to see what happens next in this situation. Jade Cargill and Brandon Phillips, her MLB boyfriend, do not need the money. They own a softball team, the Texas Smoke, who won their title last season. That is actually the excuse she gave some AEW talent for leaving the company.
There is a lot going on in the pro wrestling world, and Jade Cargill going to WWE could make a big impact on the company’s women’s division.
