Edge wrestled in Toronto for WWE, and that might be his last match for the company. There are a lot of questions surrounding his name right now, but Edge has also apparently moved internally in WWE as well.

We previously reported that Edge was removed from the internal WWE roster. This even caused Mercedes Mone to react.

Mike Johnson reported on PW Insider that Edge was removed from the active talent list, but he was moved to another list. It was reported that the Rated R Superstar is on a “miscellaneous” talent list. Other people on that list include Braun Strowman, Titus O’Neil, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Big E.

“We are told is now listed in what was described as a ‘miscellaneous’ talent list for personalities signed but not working actively on either TV series. Others included on that list currently would be Steve Austin, Big E, Undertaker, Titus O’Neill and Braun Strowman, among others, all talents who are connected to the company, but not actively performing or are injured.”

We will have to see what happens in this situation, because WWE listing Edge at all might lead some to assume a deal of some kind is signed. Only time will tell what the future holds, because there are a few interesting options on the table.

Ringside News exclusively reported that the speculation within WWE is still that Edge is AEW bound. That hasn’t changed from our previous exclusive report from a month ago.

Ringside News previously exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is going to AEW. A short time later, Sean Sapp reported that there is also belief within AEW that Tony Khan will ink Adam Copeland to a contract.

Edge could make a lot of AEW fans very happy if he makes his way to Tony Khan’s company. At the same time, it makes sense if WWE wants to keep him around however they can. Let us know how you feel about it in the comments!
