Konosuke Takeshita Gets New Name On AEW Dynamite

Konosuke Takeshita is one wrestler that AEW has pushed to the moon at this point. He has Don Callis by his side, gaining heat as they go. Now he has a new nickname.

During AEW Dynamite this week, Don Callis cut a promo on Kenny Omega. That being said, he also had a couple of reveals.

Don Callis said that Takeshita beat Kenny Omega twice in seven days. That caused him to create a new nickname. Then Don Callis revealed that Konosuke Takeshita’s new nickname is “The Alpha.” They even played a graphic on the screen to celebrate this new name.

Then Don Callis revealed his new masterpiece. This portrayed Kota Ibushi under a sword. Callis said that they are targeting Kenny Omega by going after his heart, and that means Ibushi is their next target.

We will have to see what’s next for Don Callis in AEW. It seems that he is not finished making Kenny Omega’s life miserable.
