Drew McIntyre Open to Renewing Rivalry with Brock Lesnar

Drew McIntyre is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He battled many top stars during his time in the company and that includes Brock Lesnar. Now it appears McIntyre is willing to face Brock Lesnar again.

Back in the 2020 Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre went on to win the match as he toppled a dominant Brock Lesnar and booked his ticket to WrestleMania 36. McIntyre would go on to defeat Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

While speaking with Essentially Sports, Drew McIntyre talked about his relationship with Brock Lesnar. The Scottish Warrior made it clear that he is ready to square off against The Beast Incarnate again.

“As far as I’m concerned, not really, because I beat him. We had the run leading up to WrestleMania and then I defeated him for the title. But, you know, if Brock shows back up in my life, I’m ready for the challenge.

There’s nobody like Brock Lesnar. I’ve seen what he’s been up to since last time we tangled, his cowboy run; he’s even more terrifying as a good guy smiling with a cowboy hat on, somehow. He did eliminate me from the Royal Rumble so we’re 1-1 in the Royal Rumble and then I’m 1-0 in singles matches so he’s probably the one who’s looking to come back and even the odds.”.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Brock Lesnar did not appear for the Payback Premium Live Event. It is likely he will be back in time for WrestleMania 40 in 2024 as he’s being featured on the advertisements for the event. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see whether Lesnar and Drew McIntyre will ever square off against each other again.
