There is no doubt that Bryan Danielson is one of the most established names in the world of professional wrestling right now. He is also viewed as a very harmless vegan outside the squared circle and largely maintains that image as well. Now it appears Danielson has adopted the position of a role model and teacher in AEW.
Bryan Danielson immediately made an impact upon his debut at AEW All Out 2021. He has consistently put on solid matches with the likes of Jon Moxley, Adam Page, MJF and many more.
Bryan Danielson’s infinite wealth of knowledge has also benefited the company in a huge way. While speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy revealed that Bryan Danielson has adopted the position of a role model and teacher in AEW.
“Bryan Danielson’s great. I can’t say enough positive, good things about him. Since he’s come in he’s been the role model and the teacher that you want because he’s very understanding and if someone wants to work out he’s there to get with them, he will be there early to work with people. He’s also very level-headed, he’s very calm, he has an amazing mentality. He loves pro wrestling, obviously everybody knows that. But, he is just the perfect guy to transition into a position of being a leader and being able to help mold younger talent. He’s an exemplary human being and an exemplary talent as well, so lots of love for Bryan Danielson.“
Bryan Danielson is set to square off against Zack Sabre Jr. at WrestleDream on October 1st. We will have to wait and see how Danielson will continue to be booked until he ends his full-time in-ring career.
