Wes Lee Apparently Quits WWE NXT This Week

WWE NXT is a competitive place, and it can be grueling to keep up with that grind on a weekly basis. It appears that Wes Lee might have decided that it is time for him to quit.

Wes Lee had a fantastic run as NXT North American Champion. He was unable to capture another shot at the NXT Title this week, as Ilja Dragunov was able to beat him to claim a match against Carmelo Hayes at NXT No Mercy.

Following his loss this week, Wes Lee returned to the locker room. It appeared that he was quitting the company, because he took his things, cleaned out his locker, and left.

This is a surprising segment for NXT. Wes Lee had a great singles run, and many didn’t think it would happen. When Nash Carter was fired from WWE, many fans wondered what would happen to Wes Lee, but he proved so those doubters wrong.
