Von Wagner Suffered Skull Fracture In Steel Steps Stunt On WWE NXT

WWE NXT is full of Superstars who are all vying for attention in their own ways. Von Wagner and Bron Breakker had quite a match last week on the show, and it is still drawing headlines.

We previously reported that Bron Breakker went rogue last week during his match against Von Wagner. Then Breakker bashed Wagner’s head in with the steel ring steps. That was a shocking moment that reportedly worried some backstage in NXT.

Von Wagner was then stretchered out of the building, and now we have an update. During WWE NXT this week, they provided a medical update on Von Wagner. Apparently, he suffered a skull fracture during that spot.

“Von Wagner has been diagnosed with a minor skull fracture. Thankfully, Von Wagner was able to move at the last moment to take away the full impact, however, due to his history in brain and skull surgeries, his return has yet to be determined and he’s being closely monitored by leading specialists and medical staff.”

This was quite a brutal spot, and you can click here to see an alternate angle of that. The whole thing is a storyline, but Wagner’s history of brain conditions might be real. Only time will tell how they use this angle in the future.
