WWE RAW saw a few changes this week, including the opening segment. Cody Rhodes was supposed to come out first, but Jey Uso was put in that spot instead. Vince McMahon made several changes for the show, and so did Triple H.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Vince McMahon is back, and he made those changes to RAW this week. It was also said that those changes were “for the better.”
“Vince McMahon is back. He made multiple changes to the show tonight. There were also changes made by Triple H and they were last minute changes.”
“I asked what the changes were, and maybe I’ll know more tomorrow. I asked one, and all I heard is that they are ‘probably changes for the better,’ but there was many of them. Vince is back from his surgery leave.”
Vince McMahon was not in the building in Virginia this week, but he did make those changes remotely. We will have to see if Vince McMahon keeps changing the show as time goes on, but it appears that Mr. McMahon is back at his usual post in WWE.
WWE is going through a lot of changes, and their merger with the UFC is expected to finalize on September 12th. That return timing for Mr. McMahon was certainly interesting as WWE becomes a part of TKO Holdings Group.
