WWE and UFC’s merger is complete and there are a lot of questions left to be answered. Many WWE fans are concerned that this change will alter the company’s programming, but it appears that they will keep everything in place.
The new TKO Holdings Group is set to take off with all the power they can right out of the gate. The two companies, WWE and UFC, will also be monsters when it comes to cashflow.
Marc Raimondi spoke with WWE President Nick Khan recently, along with UFC COO Lawrence Epstein. He revealed that their conversation led to speaking about Dana Whie and Triple H’s positions in their respective companies. It appears that Dana White will see a slight change, but Triple H’s role will remain the same.
Dana White will now be the CEO of the UFC, rather than the president. But nothing will change as far as his role as the leader of the UFC. Paul “Triple H” Levesque will remain as the WWE head of creative and chief content officer
WWE fans have been waiting for this merger to conclude since WrestleMania 39 when it was first announced. Some big plans are in the works, and the possibilities are seemingly endless as well.
WWE has seen a lot of changes over the years, as many fans today remember when it was called “WWF.” Now, they will have to remember TKO as well, but it’s doubtful that WWE will ever be replaced in terms of branding.
