WWE RAW was quite a show this week, and stories broke during the episode that the show was changed. It was later reported that Vince McMahon returned from his medical leave to change the show remotely at the last minute. It doesn’t seem like that was the case, as new information is coming out about the situation.

BWE posted on X to clear up exactly what happened prior to RAW this week. It was said that the second draft of the show was approved two hours before everything went live. That first draft had a couple of different segments, but it was noted that “that was only the blueprints as usual.”
“Again, show was approved 2 hours before live. And that was draft2 of the show. Draft1 had few different segments. But that was only blueprints as usual and things change throughout. Dave [Meltzer] you are clueless.”
One fan asked the bona fide WWE insider why people like Johnny Gargano aren’t getting booked if Vince McMahon isn’t back. This brought a reply of, “Because everything has a plan. They don’t run an indie show.”
Vince McMahon had to take a medical leave as he recovered from spinal surgery. The assumption was that Vince returned to the show this week to make remote changes, but that might not be the whole story at all.
We will have to see what happens next in WWE. The company is going through a lot of changes on a corporate level, and only time will tell how that translates onto television.
