WWE NXT brought a big show this week, main evented by Becky Lynch’s match against Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Title. The show also got off to a bang.

Wes Lee and Ilja Dragunov faced off in the opening match of this week’s show for a #1 contender spot at Carmelo Hayes’ NXT Title. Those two had a twenty-minute banger of a contest, one that took each other to the limit.

In the end, Iljua Dragunov won that match to secure his spot against Carmelo Hayes at NXT’s No Mercy event. That was a hard-fought win indeed.

After Iljua Dragunov won the match, Carmelo Hayes came out to flex with his NXT Title. This match could be a banger at the end of the month. The card in California is shaping up to be a big one as well.
