Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio had a segment this week that resulted in a brawl. Then JD McDonagh got involved and the American Nightmare suffered an attack. This was a two-on-one beating on the former AEW EVP.

During the chaos, Michael Cole called the action on commentary. That is when he slipped up and misspoke the name of that popular RAW stable.

Michael Cole said that JD McDonagh is trying to get into the “Judgment Gay,” instead of Judgment Day. He immediately corrected himself, but fans noticed that botch right away. They were also quick to comment about this on social media.

“Did Michael Cole just call them judgment gay,” one fan commented. Many more called that moment on X as well. There were several replies, and we can only imagine meme makers are going to provide the internet wrestling community with plenty of content as well.

“Judgment Gay was my nickname in college,” another fan tweeted out. This was certainly an unfortunate botch, and Michael Cole tried to cover it up, but that slip-up went down before he could stop it.
