AEW has needed to make a few big choices in the past few months. CM Punk’s release could lead to more people who are upset in the company. Although it has also been reported that the backstage morale in AEW has actually improved since the Second City Savior was released. Eric Bischoff has an idea of how Tony Khan can keep his locker room happy.

During his 82 Weeks show, Eric Bischoff chimed in to say that Tony Khan should fire anyone who doesn’t want to be in AEW. After all, malcontents will cause other people to be upset as well, and that could cause a chain reaction.

“There are some talents in AEW that are very important talents. I’m not going to name them, you know who they are. They know who they are. There are also a lot of talent there that doesn’t matter. It is what it is. If those people that are there that don’t matter are also the malcontents, why would you keep them around? Those malcontents are going to make other people malcontents. Cut them loose, and let them apply their trade where they can. If you have to give them a 90-day non-compete, then so be it. That’s the way the world works.”

Eric Bischoff went on to say that he doesn’t know why Jack Perry got a “get out of jail free card,” even though he is suspended indefinitely.

CM Punk is now free to do his own thing. Plenty of people, including Ryback, have commented on the situation. It doesn’t seem like he has many fans within the pro wrestling business at this point.

We will have to see what AEW does in the future. There are a lot of things working in their favor, but a few hurdles are also present that they need to jump over.
