WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley is a veteran in the world of pro wrestling and has competed in several promotions during his career. He has especially made a name for himself in WWE. He was gone from in-ring competition for 7 years but returned at Impact Wrestling 1000. Now it appears he reflected on his in-ring return.
D-Von Dudley’s last wrestling match took place at SummerSlam 2016, where he teamed up with Bubby Ray Dudley and lost to Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville. That all changed last week.
Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley squared off against Champagne Singh and Rohit Raju of the Desi Hit Squad during the Impact Wrestling 1000 taping, which was D-Von’s first match in seven years. Naturally, the WWE Hall of Famers would win the match.
D-Von Dudley took to his Instagram and uploaded a couple of clips of his in-ring return, as he reflected on his first match in over seven years. D-Von was very thankful to all the people who welcomed him on his return to the ring.
“Being back in the ring again after 7 years for the 1000 episode of TNA was truly amazing. I would [like] to thank Bubba, Tommy Dreamer, Scott F. D’Amore and the whole impact locker, for welcome me back with open arms. Everybody in the locker room was truly respectful very genuine for my come back.
I’ve said it before that this would be it, but you never know lol. Here is some video of what transpired last night . I’m a little sore, but to be expected training and off thank you fans to my family and all my friends support over the 32 year career. ……OH MY BROTHER TESTIFY!!!”
D-Von Dudley also made it clear that he is open to more matches somewhere down the line. We will have to wait and see when Dudley will be competing in the ring again.
