Bray Wyatt is gone, but his memory will never be forgotten. Now, one thing we can do to cope is look back and see what could have been. WWE had to halt all creative plans for Bray Wyatt when he exited on the road to WrestleMania 39, but there were plenty of stories left to be told.
We previously reported that Dutch was interviewed recently, where he was asked about plans for him and Vincent to be a part of the Wyatt6 faction. It was said that the stable was a “real possibility.”
Ringside News reached out to confirm this story about nixed plans for a Bray Wyatt stable. We are told by a tenured member of the creative team that plans for the Wyatt6 faction were “not really that far along.” We were also told that, “no one knew if or when he’d ever be able to return.”
Sadly, Bray Wyatt didn’t return to WWE, because he passed away after suffering a heart attack. That loss was a tremendous one that will be felt in the pro wrestling community for years to come.
Ringside News also exclusively reported that the reported Bray Wyatt vs Uncle Howdy match was “Rob Fee’s pitch, but no one ever really thought we’d get there.” Rob Fee was brought in to help with Bray Wyatt’s return story, and he was one of the many WWE names who got a Bray Wyatt tribute tattoo after his passing.
Our thoughts still go out to Bray Wyatt’s family, JoJo Offerman, Bray’s kids, and all of his friends at this time. They lost a great man in their lives, as millions of fans in the WWE Universe lost a hero and one of the greatest creative minds to ever step in the squared circle. RIP.
