Kenny Omega Down to Battle Xavier Woods in Tekken 8 Video Game

Kenny Omega is hailed as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time thanks to his incredible in-ring work worldwide. Apart from pro wrestling, Omega is also a massive gamer and it appears he is open to battling Xavier Woods in the fighting game Tekken 8.

In case you didn’t know, The New Day have a strong rivalry with The Elite, more specifically Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. This was more apparent in 2018, as Xavier Woods and Kenny Omega faced each other in Street Fighter V during that year’s E3.

On Thursday night, Kenny Omega and ONE FC Champion Demetrious Johnson had a social media interaction which led to them agreeing to face each other in Tekken 8. The fight will be held around the time of AEW WrestleDream, which takes place in Johnson’s hometown of Seattle.

Kenny Omega would mention Xavier Woods during the social media interaction and got a response from the WWE Superstar, challenging him to a game of Tekken 8 as well. Naturally, Omega would accept the challenge.

We will have to wait and see whether Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods will be facing each other in Tekken 8 soon, as fans would love to see the two battle it out in the virtual world again.
