WWE has a few Superstars out there who wouldn’t mind getting their shot in AEW. It seems that one of them has popped up when we least expected him, and he could ride that viral wave into landing a booking if he plays his cards right.

All Out 2023 featured a match between Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs, which prompted the live Chicago crowd to engage in chants related to meat. Fans made references to Big E’s comment about “big meaty men slapping meat” on many occasions.

Even Tony Khan acknowledged the chanting, stating in a tweet during the match that the “meat forever” chants were valid. AEW subsequently released a commemorative T-shirt for the “Battle of the Meats,” which fans could purchase through their online store.

The current focus on meat-related themes in AEW has not escaped the notice of former WWE star Shawn Stasiak, also known as ‘Meat.’ He took to social media to inform everyone that he’s aware of the discussions surrounding this topic.

Hey @TonyKhan what’s up with all this “MEAT” business? I mean it was nice to “Meet” you a couple years ago backstage but cmon man….Aged Meat when preserved well….is actually AGELESS!

Shawn Stasiak hasn’t been seen on WWE television in quite some time. Only time will tell if he can use this to get himself some time on AEW Collision one week, because it might be nice to see him.

If anything, you know Tony Khan is a sucker for a throwback booking, and Meat showing up to claim the rights to his meaty name might just be television gold.

What’s your take on meat? Sound off in the comments if you’d rather not see that on AEW television!
