The legendary tag team, the Dudley Boyz, have recently inked Legends contracts with WWE, according to a report by Sports Illustrated. This news comes as the iconic duo prepares for their return match at the upcoming IMPACT 1000 show.

D-Von Dudley had been serving as a producer for WWE’s NXT brand following his retirement from in-ring competition. However, he parted ways with the company in January of this year. Since his departure, D-Von has reunited with Bubba Ray Dudley, and their much-anticipated return match is scheduled for the IMPACT 1000 event.

The Dudley Boyz, honored with a place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018, were a famous tag team in wrestling. They won championships a whopping 24 times, mostly in tag team matches. What made them special was their cool moves, especially their finisher called the 3D, and they had exciting rivalries with other tag teams like The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. They had some crazy matches with tables, ladders, and chairs that fans loved.

Now, they’ve signed a special Legends contract with WWE, which means they’re still part of the WWE family even though they’re not wrestling as much anymore. This contract recognizes their amazing career and makes sure that people will always remember their contribution to wrestling. It’s like when you win an award in high school, and even after you graduate, people still remember and appreciate what you did during your time there.
