WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, and it appears that they are bringing some heat to NXT. That Tuesday night show has a growing fan base, and the added focus on the brand has really paid off for WWE as new television rights deals are coming up.

Becky Lynch showed up on NXT via a pre-taped message this week. She was quick to announce her intentions, because she won’t be around next week for just a visit. Instead, she will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Title.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez remarked on WWE’s decision to put an NXT Women’s Title on NXT next week with Becky Lynch. It was said that WWE is “going in for the kill,” because they really want their developmental show to beat AEW Dynamite.

“So they’re going in for the kill next week [for WWE NXT]. They’re determined to beat AEW Dynamite in the 18 to 49 demographic.”

We will have to see if AEW Dynamite is able to pop a huge rating to combat this new wave of interest for NXT. WWE is certainly giving fans a lot of reasons to tune in at this point.

Becky Lynch has never won the NXT Women’s Title, but she hopes to change that next week on NXT. That being said, Tiffany Stratton also had a rather profane message for The Man in preparation for their match.

Do you think Becky Lynch is going to win the NXT Women’s Title next week? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
