Ryback has not made his return to the ring in a long time, because he’s letting himself heal. As his shoulder repairs itself, fans are still going to ask for big matches, and it appears that he’s game to take on Goldberg. That being said, readiness to take on that match doesn’t come from both competitors.

Ryback hasn’t been quiet about his attempts to get a meeting with Goldberg for a match. This is something he’s spoken about occasionally, and his fans seem to be all about it. Apparently, WWE shot down that idea in the past as well.

During a recent live stream, Ryback stated that, after failing to put a match together on several occasions, that The Big Guy believes Goldberg is afraid of him.

“There is a good possibility that Goldberg is scared of me and does not want to face an opponent of my size or stature for his last match. That is a very realistic possibility.”

Some fans called for Tony Khan to book Ryback vs Goldberg at All In London. They claimed that the card TK booked wasn’t exciting enough, and it needed that match. Obviously, that didn’t happen in time for Wembley Stadium this year, but there’s always All In London 2 on August 25th, 2024.

Ryback already stated that he’s not going back to WWE, no matter how much money they offer him. He isn’t hanging up his boots just yet, as he is just waiting for a green light from his doctor to start wrestling once again. Only time will tell if Goldberg ever picks up the phone for a conversation with the Big Guy.
