Bron Breakker’s Steel Steps Spot Led To Backstage Panic During NXT

Bron Breakker has been on a roll since his debut in NXT 2.0 back in September 2021. He has been the shining star of the brand, racking up wins left and right. He is a heel now and he brutally demolished Von Wagner on NXT this week. Now it appears his vicious steel steps spot during NXT led to a lot of backstage panic.

As seen on this week’s episode of NXT, Bron Breakker took on Von Wagner in a No DQ match. Breakker would defeat Wagner after a lot of effort. However, he wasn’t done there as Breakker hit a ring step on an unconscious Wagner as the live feed cut, as fans assumed Breakker sandwiched Wagner’s head with the steps and was then stretchered out.

According to a report by BodySlam.net, several people who were in attendance for the taping and are regular attendees of NXT noted that panic was caused by the spot, as the EMT’s and other agents were very concerned following what Breakker did. It was further noted that when the steel steps came down, they actually hit the back of Von Wagner’s head and neck.

There was further panic backstage in NXT as Bron Breakker “hit him in the head accidentally.” It was emphasized that the “black screen” was planned and that “aspects went wrong,” which resulted in Von Wagner getting split open by the shot – which was never intended.

Breakker’s vicious attack on Von Wagner has left everyone speechless. We will have to wait and see how long Von Wagner will end up on the shelf after Bron Breakker’s assault.
