AEW has gone through a lot of changes over the years, but that also includes a myriad of controversies, largely stemming from CM Punk. Even after Punk, there were other backstage issues as well. Now it appears ex-UFC star Josh Barnett has offered to help Tony Khan stop all the backstage chaos in AEW.
CM Punk and Jack Perry had been suspended following their backstage confrontation at AEW All In, which eventually led to Tony Khan firing CM Punk. Khan would then provide the reason behind Punk’s firing. It came down to Tony Khan feeling unsafe for the first time in thirty years.
Josh Barnett took to Twitter and offered to help Tony Khan stop all the backstage chaos in AEW with his own expertise, promising that he could discipline everyone in the company.
Just a thought: Seems like the AEW locker room is in need of someone to establish some order and reign in the chaos.
If Tony needs someone to keep discipline and sort out conflict, I’d be willing to take the job.
I can promise you there won’t be random fights and anyone asking me if I’d like to, “Take it outside.”
We will have to wait and see whether AEW will end up having more problems backstage after CM Punk’s departure, as fans feel there will be fewer issues now that Punk is no longer there.
