AEW has certainly come a long way since its humble beginnings back in 2019, as they have gone through numerous changes in every facet of the company. They have made a home out of many venues so far and that includes The United Center in Chicago. Now it appears Tony Khan stated that AEW might not be able to get into the United Center next year.

AEW has hosted the All Out pay-per-view and episode of Dynamite and Rampage at the United Center in Chicago for quite a while now as it has become a tradition at this point.

While speaking during the post-AEW All Out media scrum, Tony Khan was asked whether AEW will lean more towards the United Center. Khan was somewhat discreet in his answer but it made clear he doubts AEW will be able to hold All Out and episodes of Dynamite in the United Center.

Is Raff back here? Hey Raff, can I say is that public knowledge what’s in there next year or is that Secret Service from I’m hearing? Oh okay. Well, uh oh, so they have something pretty big booked here next year, so I may not be able to get into the United Center next year. I think the Now Arena is a great option and the original home. I would have loved to run the United Center any and every year, I do think there is something unbumpable next Summer here, I’ll put it that way and you know, for once I think the people at the United Center will be answering to the authorities that are higher than even the Commissioner and General Manager of a wrestling league.

Well so what’s coming next Summer, but there’s something pretty big coming next Summer, which is probably unbumpable, so next Summer maybe the Now Arena. But we’ll keep this event in Chicago forever. I don’t think it will be possible in 2024 to use The United Center because I think there is something else here in 2024.

It is to be noted that the Democratic National Convention will be taking place in the United Center next year from August 19 to 22, so Tony Khan might be referencing that. Regardless, we’ll have to see what AEW will do in the end.

What are your thoughts on what Tony Khan had to say? Will you be disappointed if AEW All Out doesn’t take place in The United Center next year? Let us know in the comments!
