CM Punk and Jack Perry were both suspended from AEW after the fiasco that went down right before the main AEW All In London card was supposed to start. That was apparently captured on camera as well, and an investigation was launched.
It was determined that CM Punk would be fired as a result of that investigation, but Jack Perry is still suspended. During the media conference after AEW All Out, Tony Khan confirmed that Jungle Boy is still suspended indefinitely.
“He’s been suspended indefinitely. We’ve suspended everybody in that investigation and took further action after that based on what happened and came out of the investigation. We suspended Jack as a participant in an incident backstage, and Jack hasn’t been around. That’s all I can say about it. At the time, we did suspend him, and he hasn’t been at AEW since AEW All In.”
We will have to see how long Jack Perry is off AEW television. Some fans are very happy with Jack Perry, because he helped get rid of CM Punk. On the other hand, a lot of fans are very upset with him for the same reason.
CM Punk might have a lot to say about this situation by the time everything is said and done. After all, the Second City Savior has never been shy about speaking his mind. Jack Perry on the other hand, will likely just wait out his time until an AEW return comes around.
