Samoa Joe Pays Homage To WWE NXT Interaction With MJF During AEW All Out

Samoa Joe was a dominate champion in WWE NXT, but that didn’t last forever. Now, he is in AEW, but he never forgets about the past.

During a classic NXT moment, MJF actually played a security guard during the show. He led then-NXT Champion Samoa Joe to the ring, and he tried to get out in front of the Samoan Submission machine. That called for Joe to put MJF in line.

In that classic NXT clip, Samoa Joe can be seen shoving MJF back. When Samoa Joe made his way to the ring during All Out, he passed MJF after his win with Adam Cole in their ROH Tag Team Title match. This is when Samoa Joe gave MJF a little shove.

Fans were quick to call out this reference, but MJF didn’t think it was funny. MJF tried to fight Joe over this, and they had to separate them. Then Samoa Joe got his ROH TV Title match started with Shane Taylor.
