WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler remains cherished by fans as the distinctive voice of an era. Despite no longer being a frequent commentator, he continues to make memorable guest appearances. He worried fans after suffering a stroke earlier this year and it appears Lawler will now require knee replacement surgery.

Jerry Lawler’s health challenges have been widely recognized by fans in recent times, including a life-threatening heart attack in 2012 during a Monday Night RAW broadcast, with Michael Cole stepping in to fill his role during his absence.

As previously reported, the beloved pro wrestling legend was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke back in February. In fact, Jerry Lawler experienced paralysis right before he suffered the stroke.

Lawler also underwent surgery after being transported to the hospital and was said to make a full recovery soon enough. That said, he underwent another surgery right after that as well.

Lawler made an appearance during the August 28 episode of WWE Raw, much to the delight of fans. While speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross stated that he spoke to Lawler this week and revealed that Lawler will be requiring knee replacement surgery.

Lawler was feeling better, we talked about doing some autograph shows together, a little tour, I think that’s going to happen. The two of us. That combination, not sounding egocentric, there are a lot of good announcers and a lot of announcers doing their best work, which is great. I can hear some of my phraseology in everybody, certain phrases. Talking to Jerry was great and I think we would do really well in the autograph world. If we can get Lawler healthy with prayers and good wishes. I know he has to get his knee replaced, I don’t know when that’s going to be.

We continue to give our best to Jerry Lawler and pray he undergoes a successful surgery and will eventually get back to his best health as soon as possible.
