AEW fired CM Punk, and they don’t want to see his name on their television airwaves again. His name is getting scrubbed, and that includes fan signs at the show, t-shirts aren’t off-limits either.

We previously reported that CM Punk signs were confiscated during AEW Collision this week. Now, footage has emerged of AEW security doing just that, while they chastise a fan in the process.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW security is taking signs from fans once again at All Out. They are also asking fans to turn their CM Punk t-shirts inside out.

CM Punk signs are being taken at the show. There was a rumor that people with CM Punk shirts are being asked to turn them inside out — that’s false. A security guard said that in jest. 

You can click here to watch a video that surfaced of AEW security taking a CM Punk sign from a fan at Collision. They weren’t very nice about it, either.

We will have to see if AEW fans in Chicago blare out CM Punk chants during the show. After all, there isn’t much that Tony Khan can do about that at all, except for mute the crowd chants, which would only draw more attention to CM Punk’s vocal fan base.
