Darby Allin is currently one of the top stars in AEW, who has made a name for himself as a thrill seeker and extreme daredevil. That is not a gimmick as he is exactly like that in real life. Now it appears Allin stated that he banged up his spine at AEW All In.
Darby Allin also loves skateboarding and doing a lot of death-defying activities that truly make him feel alive. The former TNT Champion is an enigma and embraces that in every way.
Darby Allin is one of the most established talents in AEW and is considered one of the four pillars of AEW. Allin teamed with Sting at AEW All In, facing Swerve Strickland & Christian Cage in a coffin match, where he and Sting ended up victorious.
While speaking to CBS Chicago, Darby Allin revealed that he banged up his spine at AEW All In. That said, he will still compete at AEW All Out on September 3rd.
“I’m not 100%. We had a show in London, I really messed my spine up. I’m trying to take it easy before Sunday,” he said. “My lower back is really banged up. At the show in Wembley, I jumped off the top rope and landed on a metal coffin on my lower spine. Luchasaurus, he’s a huge dude. I think a lot of it has to do with where I’m willing to go in that ring. A lot of people aren’t willing to go where I’m willing to go mentally. I can take a big butt kicking. When things are going, there are things I’m capable of that I believe nobody else is.”
Darby Allin is set to challenge Luchasaurus for the TNT Championship at the AEW All Out pay-per-view on September 3rd. It remains to be seen whether Allin will end up winning the match.
