WWE Hall of Famer Edge has seen the pro wrestling industry change in many ways throughout his career. Being such a big name, it is no surprise that many people take his opinion seriously. That said, it appears Edge is auctioning off the ring gear from his possible final WWE match for a good cause.
Edge himself stated that his WWE contract would be over after a previous week’s Smackdown ahead of his match with Sheamus. While that discussion still stayed in people’s minds, they were more focused on the in-ring action
Sheamus and Edge had a solid match in the main event of Smackdown, which received a ton of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike. In the end, the Rated R Superstar pulled off the win.
Sami Zayn took to Twitter and revealed that Edge is set to auction off his ring gear from his match with Sheamus, with all proceeds going to Sami Zayn’s Sami For Syria charity.
Edge is a fantastic guy.
He got special ring gear made for his last event in Toronto, wore it, signed it & is now auctioning it off, with 100% of proceeds going to http://SamiForSyria.com to fund our mobile clinics in Syria.

Ringside News exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is going to AEW. It remains to be seen whether the Rated R Superstar will make his way to AEW, as fan fans would be shocked by his debut.
