CM Punk is suspended from AEW, but that did not make him cancel another big date on his schedule. He received a big honor at the Cauliflower Alley Club, and the Second City Savior couldn’t miss it.

Despite being absent from last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk has been busy. He was given the Iron Mike Mazurki Award at the Cauliflower Alley Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Iron Mike Mazurki Award is awarded to pro wrestlers who made “exceptional contributions to professional wrestling and have exhibited outstanding dedication to the sport both inside and outside the ring.”

CM Punk had a chance to reconnect with a lot of people. Some of those names included Ron Simmons, Mickie James, The Nasty Boys and Koko B Ware. They weren’t the only familiar faces present, even though Rey Mysterio wears a mask.

CM Punk and Rey Mysterio were able to meet up at this ceremony, and it appears that they had a good time. Punk posted a photo of himself with Mysterio, along with several other legends, on his Instagram story.

Rey Mysterio was there to present the Lucha Libre Award to Damian 666. Punk also posed with Damian 666 in one of those Instagram stories.

We will have continued coverage of CM Punk, and the rest of the pro wrestling word, right here at Ringside News. Obviously, there is a lot more to unpack between Punk and AEW, but it seems that he had a great time at the CAC.
