Jack Perry underwent a major character shift after turning heel a couple of months ago. He made headlines after a backstage confrontation with CM Punk AEW All In and now it appears he isn’t scheduled for Dynamite this week.

During AEW All In Zero Hour, Jack Perry referenced his controversy with CM Punk when it came to using real glass for a spot. This led to CM Punk and Perry having a backstage fight right before Punk’s match at All In London.

It was reported that CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended following their backstage confrontation. This week’s episodes of Dynamite, Collision and All Out are all taking place in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago.

According to a report by PWInsider, Jack Perry is not present for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Nothing about CM Punk was mentioned in the report.

CM Punk also reportedly threatened to quit AEW over this situation. Their backstage fight also killed morale in AEW. We’ll have to wait and see what will become of The Second City Saint in the end.
