CM Punk and Jack Perry’s mini-throwdown backstage at All In London is capturing headlines to this day. His ordeal with Miro might have been a joke, but things were serious. Just because AEW has pulled Jack Perry and CM Punk from the road doesn’t mean they have adjusted their advertising.
CM Punk may be suspended, but AEW continues to promote the controversial star for upcoming Collision tapings. At AEW All In, Punk and Jack Perry had a physical altercation backstage, following Perry’s Zero-Hour match with Hook.
The match saw Perry make a reference to using real glass, a nod to a backstage argument between himself and Punk over the use of real glass for an episode of AEW Collision. Things escalated quickly when Perry went backstage.
Both CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended from AEW amid an investigation into the matter. Despite this, Punk is featured front and center in promotional material for upcoming Collision tapings.
In a series of tweets posted after what transpired at All In, Punk is promoted for the October 28 show in Uncasville, CT, as well as the November 4th taping in Wichita, KS. He might not make that show, but this could also add more proof that nobody knows what the future holds for this situation.
CM Punk and Jack Perry are suspended, pending an investigation. Tony Khan stated that the company would be looking into matters during the press conference after All In London.
