Paul Heyman Approached Mick Foley About Bray Wyatt Adopting the Mandible Claw Finisher

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley is considered a legend in the pro wrestling business. Mick Foley worked in other companies and competed against several top stars in the industry. Being a veteran, it appears he was asked by Paul Heyman if Bray Wyatt could use his Mandible Claw finisher.

Bray Wyatt passed away at the age of 36, shocking fans and the pro wrestling world alike as they slowly come to terms with such a tragic loss. A lot of tributes continue to come pouring out even now.

Prior to this, back in 2019, Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend made its debut. One of Wyatt’s first victims was Mick Foley, whom he took out with Foley’s own finishing move – The Mandible Claw.

In his latest Facebook post in memory of Bray Wyatt, Mick Foley revealed that Paul Heyman called him to ask if The Fiend could use his Mandible Claw finisher. Heyman then further asked if The Fiend could use it on Foley. Naturally, Foley was open to both ideas.

“In 2019, I received a phone call from Paul Heyman, asking me how I would feel about Bray’s new incarnation as “The Fiend” using my old mandible claw finisher. I think I gave Paul a three word answer: “I love it.” if I remember correctly, it was in that same phone call where Paul asked how I would feel about being on the receiving end of my own finisher. I believe I gave him that same three word answer a second time: “I love it.” So, a few days later I became the first victim of The Fiend’s mandible claw, and will always be proud to hold that distinction.”

The WWE Universe will miss Bray Wyatt forever, as he touched the lives of fans, family and peers alike with his presence. No matter what, Wyatt will be remembered for the kind of human being he was.
