Awesome Kong Set To Make In-Ring Return After Three Years

Awesome Kong was one of the best female wrestlers in TNA because of her sheer size and presence. She was quite easily the biggest female talent in the company and made sure fans knew that. Now it appears she is set to make her in-ring return in three years at Impact 1000.

Awesome Kong was last seen in AEW, where she was part of The Nightmare Collective alongside Brandi Rhodes. Her run was a brief one as she suffered an injury and eventually parted ways with AEW in 2021.

Impact Wrestling’s Twitter account officially announced that Awesome Kong will make her in-ring return in three years during Impact 1000 on September 9 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY.

Awesome Kong’s last match took place on an episode of AEW Dark in 2020. She retired from in-ring action in 2021 and thus – fans are certainly excited for her in-ring return next month.
