LA Knight has a lot going for him, and his eyes are on achieving greatness in WWE. That being said, he has yet to escape comparisons to The Rock, but he takes them all on at this point, as LA Knight continues to bring his own unique character. It seems that LA Knight might also like to drop The Great One on his head.

The Rock and LA Knight actually have their own distinctive backgrounds. Knight was once a participant on Dwayne Johnson’s 2013 reality TV series, The Hero.

In his prior stint as the Million Dollar Champion, using his real name, he managed to secure a $35,000 prize but had a brief run, spanning just two episodes. That was not what the future WWE Superstar was going for when he joined the competition.

One of the most enduring memories from his time on the show was when he fell prey to The Rock’s iconic “It Doesn’t Matter” catchphrase – a moment that Knight still recalls vividly even a decade later.

When asked by TalkSport whether he’d welcome the opportunity to engage in a verbal showdown with The Rock, Knight responded, “If such an opportunity arises, we’ve got to incorporate some physicality, don’t we?”

“I don’t mind dropping the Rock on his head!”

“I owe him one from about ten years ago when he hit me with ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ ten years ago so I owe him a little something.”

We will never forget what The Rock did in the ring. A lot of fans won’t forget LA Knight at this point, either. Few of them realized he was on this short-lived reality television show, but now they do. Thankfully, we dug up the clip, which you can check out below.

LA Knight is on his way to making way more than $35,000 with WWE, as his merchandise sales keep skyrocketing. That “YEAH” and “LEMME TALK TO YA” catchphrase combo is also going viral. Only time will tell what’s next for LA Knight, but it looks like he became a hero without winning that reality television show.
