John Cena is coming back to WWE, and it appears that he will be around for more than just one television appearance and a trip to India. Now, the 16x World Champion has even more WWE dates on his schedule.
WWE also used this chance to drop new Cena merchandise. This gave fans a hope that WWE might have Cena around for longer, but they’ve also dropped new merchandise after a one-shot appearance in the past.
The company has now confirmed that John Cena is going to take on more SmackDown dates. You can check out the additions to Cena’s schedule below.
The 16-time World Champion will appear on following dates:
Friday, September 1 – Hershey, Pa. – The Giant Center
Friday, September 15 – Denver – Ball Arena
Friday, September 22 – Glendale, Ariz. – Desert Diamond Arena
Friday, September 29 – Sacramento, Calif. – Golden 1 Center
Friday, October 6 – St. Louis – Enterprise Center
Friday, October 13 – Tulsa, Okla. – BOK Center
Friday, October 20 – San Antonio – AT&T Center
Friday, October 27 – Milwaukee – Fiserv Forum
John Cena is also expected to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt during his SmackDown appearance this week. It seems that he has several more to come.
It was already reported that John Cena will team with Seth Rollins at the Superstar Spectacle in India. That might not be Cena’s only time in the ring during this return run.
As Ringside News exclusively reported, John Cena’s WWE return was in the works since the SAG-AFTRA strike started. This opened the door for his comeback to the company, while The Rock is not being discussed for a return, as Ringside News also exclusively reported.
John Cena’s return to WWE could be a lot of fun, and it might give fans an exciting addition to WWE programming for a while. Only time will tell how long it lasts.
