Grayson Waller Says John Cena Is Desperate To Work With Him

John Cena is coming back to WWE for way more than just this week’s episode of SmackDown and India’s Superstar Spectacle live event. He will take on several more SmackDown dates and be with WWE through September. Grayson Waller certainly heard that news.

Grayson Waller’s promo at Money in the Bank was interrupted by John Cena in the O2 Arena. Obviously, that was not what the Aussie wanted, but he claims Cena did that to get a rub from working with him.

After news of John Cena’s enhanced calendar dropped, Grayson Waller logged onto X, and he took a little shot at the 16x World Champion’s return.

“That flop Cena really is desperate for the Grayson Waller rub again.”

As Ringside News exclusively reported, John Cena’s WWE return was in the works since the SAG-AFTRA strike started. That strike, while it is terrible for Hollywood, turned into an opportunity for WWE.

Grayson Waller got a chance to work with Edge before this current contract situation started, so WWE is obviously putting work into getting Waller over. He is naturally hatable as well, which is a great thing for a heel like him.

Only time will tell what Grayson Waller does next. He could have a big match with John Cena on his horizon. It certainly seems like he is keeping himself in the conversation.
