It was previously reported that Jack Perry and CM Punk were involved in a backstage confrontation at All In. It was later stated that there was a yelling match backstage.

PW Insider now reports that Jack Perry was caught in a chokehold during that skirmish. Also, Jungle Boy was sent home after the confrontation, and he is no longer at Wembley Stadium.

The prevailing story making the rounds is that Perry confronted Punk, leading to the two shoving each other.  As we previously stated, from there, the first story was Punk struck Perry.  However, the version that is becoming most shared is that Perry was caught in a choke.

Punk is still backstage at Wembley Stadium.  We are told that Perry was ordered to leave and is no longer at the Stadium.

We will have to see what happens in this situation. Obviously, Jack Perry is someone that AEW has a lot of future plans for, because he is one of the company’s four pillars. That being said, CM Punk apparently has a big problem with him right now.

We will keep our eye on this story for more updates. There could be a lot more to unpack in this situation before everything is said and done.
