Jungle Boy has improved leaps and bounds as an in-ring competitor since his debut in AEW back in 2019. Throughout his career, Jack Perry has been a babyface and eventually gained a proper fanbase. He finally turned a couple of months ago and now it appears he referenced a recent CM Punk controversy during AEW All In Zero Hour.
After years of being a babyface, Jack Perry turned heel on Hook at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door and since then, he has drastically changed his appearance and character in general.
As previously reported, CM Punk and Jack Perry were involved in a backstage argument, where Punk argued with Perry over the latter wanting to use real glass, which was a health hazard.
During AEW All In Zero Hour, Jack Perry defended the FTW Championship against Hook. During a particular spot with a limo, Jack Perry turned to the camera and touched the windshield, mentioning that the glass is real, seemingly referencing his backstage argument with CM Punk.
You know what this is right here? Real glass! Go cry me a river.
Jack Perry ended up losing the FTW Championship to Hook in the end. We will have to wait and see what will become of Jack Perry now that his feud with Hook seems to be over.
