Dominik Mysterio Admits WWE Schedule Makes Relationship With Fiancée Difficult

Dominik Mysterio is a family man just like his father Rey Mysterio, which is why he believes in full commitment to his partner. While Mysterio might be a hated heel in WWE, he is the exact opposite in real life. In fact, Dominik Mysterio admitted that WWE’s hectic schedule has made his relationship with his fiancee difficult.

Dominik Mysterio has been in a relationship with Juliette for well over a decade now. Mysterio first met Marie Juliette in high school. The couple went to Spanish class together and later started dating in 2011. The high school sweethearts are set to be husband and wife after getting engaged earlier this year.

While speaking with Bakers Bantering, Dominik Mysterio talked about his relationship with Juliette. Mysterio admitted that life on the road makes his relationship with her difficult, but he knew that for years.

“Man, it’s honestly pretty hard doing, I guess, what we would call long distance because I’m in so many places, and it’s (…) She was kinda prepared for it in a way because when I started training just to become a wrestler, I moved to Tampa for six months, and she was still in school, so she couldn’t come with me.

And then I came home for about a month and a half and then moved to Canada for three months to go train there. And she was still in school, and we kinda honestly, we just kinda made it work somehow. I think it’s because we’ve been with each other for so long and that, like we kinda, we enjoy each other. So, we definitely did make it work.”.

Dominik Mysterio successfully retained his NXT North American Championship at NXT Great American Bash and a subsequent episode of NXT. It remains to be seen when the two will get married.
